60 By Spring

Run 60 miles by the First Day of Spring
 
 
It's still cold outside, but it's time to start thinking about Summer. Team FitNice wants to get everybody moving with a good for you, almost spring run challenge. This is a great way to get moving and start shaping up for summer. Our 60 By Spring Challenge kicks off February 20, 2014 and runs through the first day of Spring, March 20, 2014.
 
The Challenge? Run 60 mile in those four weeks. A little more than two miles a day (2.14). This is a great way to interact with other participants and get moving.
 
What do I have to do? Log those miles! Then post to FB or Twitter with the hashtag #60BySpring and share your daily accomplishments.
 
Are there rules? Only one: post those miles with the hashtag #60BySpring each and every Sunday. Feel free to run more that 60 miles, we'd love to hear about you marathon training or run streak. You're also not required to run 2.14 miles each day. Want to do five miles and bike the next day? Go for it!
 
What's the benefit? Get encouragement from everyone else in the #60BySpring community, especially the coaches of @FitNicePT. Have running, fitness or nutrition questions? Tag them with #60BySpring and we'll answer them!
